HISTON v SPORTING KHALSA
Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Saturday 4th December 2021
Kick off @ 3.00pm

Match Ball sponsored by The Hop Bind, Cottenham

Can we make it back-to-back wins? Last Saturday’s epic 4-3 victory at Loughborough Dynamo made it just one defeat in four for the Stutes and with performances improving all the time as the team comes together tomorrow is another chance for us to put some points on the board as we put everything into getting ourselves out of trouble at the foot of the table.

Sporting are having a decent season after coming up from Step 5 this year and occupy 11th place in the table currently. Recent league results have included a bit of everything with a couple of wins in their last six alongside three defeats and a draw, their last league outing a 1-2 home defeat to Stamford.

Lance will have to juggle his side again for this one as the seemingly never-ending injury curse struck again last week. Ryan Towner will be out for a couple of weeks and the Gaffer will assess Pat Bexfield and Tobi Lawal after the pair also picked up knocks at Loughborough. On the plus side though Andy Ballester could well be back in contention for a starting place as could his countryman Manu Ramirez, both of whom are back in training now and Bubba Camara is available again after missing last week’s game. Lance has also made an addition to his squad this week, signing Junior Muyembe on dual registration from Biggleswade Town. The midfielder is a good addition to the ranks and will be available for tomorrow’s game.

Help us to speed up entry into the ground by getting your tickets in advance through our online ticket site here. Once you have an eTicket it’s just a simple scan when you get here and you’re in, no more standing in the cash turnstile queue! We are also able to take contactless payment but if you want to pay cash then that is fine too, just remember that the cash turnstile can get a bit busy as we near kick-off so try and get here in good time.

And don’t forget that we are collecting boxes of mince pies and tins of biscuits on behalf of The Cambridgeshire Volunteer Bikers as we did at the Halesowen game a couple of weeks ago. The Bikers will then deliver these items to senior citizens and disabled young adults in assisted care facilities across the county, all whilst dressed as Santa of course! Read more on this here and if you’re able to bring something along with you we’ll have a collection point just inside the turnstile for you to drop your donation off at.

See you there!

Kick-off at 3pm.

Turnstiles open at 1.30pm
