Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Monday 2nd April 2018
Kick Off @ 3:00pm

Following a 10am inspection, today’s game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

This afternoon we welcome Saffron Walden Town to The Glassworld and after the weather put paid to Saturday’s trip to Clacton, Lance and the team are raring to go and get back on track after a disappointing result against Thetford Town a week ago last Saturday.

The Bloods are 9th in the table and their form has been a bit inconsistent recently. Saturday’s win over Hadleigh United was preceded by away defeats at the hands of Brantham, Hadleigh and Haverhill Borough but they did win away at Stowmarket in February and will no doubt be up for today’s game.

We visited Catons Lane early in the season when goals from Tommy Wright and Evan Key earned us a share of the points and in August ran out 3-0 winners at The Glassworld in the League Cup, goals from Lee Smith (2) and Tommy Wright seeing us through to the next Round.

Skipper Max York misses out through suspension and Shaun Jenkins (calf) is also out whilst Will Lawton and Mirko Garcia remain long term injury absentees. Lee Smith, James Carman, Charlie Brown and Sheldon Weinman are all available though with recent signings Dan Brown and Toby Andrews both in the squad again after promising debuts against Thetford last time out.

Kick Off is at 3:00pm (subject to pitch inspection).
