The league leaders are at The Bridge tomorrow afternoon as we welcome Ilkeston Town for our latest Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division game.
We go into this one in good heart after ending a long wait for a home win with victory over promotion-chasing Carlton Town last Saturday. We followed that up with a trip to Stamford, another of the promotion hopefuls, on Tuesday night and gave a good account of ourselves despite coming away with nothing after a 0-1 defeat.
The Robins are, as you would expect for a team at the top of the table, in fine form and are unbeaten in 8 having won 6 of those games. Zak Goodson, Remaye Campbell and Alex Troke all appear in the top ten scorers in our division and will clearly offer plenty of threat tomorrow. Safe to say that this is going to be a test but we will give it everything to get the points we need for the battle at our end of the table.
