Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 30th March 2019
Kick Off @ 3:00pm
We’re getting closer! With 7 points from our last 7 games needed to claim the title we welcome Great Yarmouth Town to The Glassworld Stadium this afternoon as we aim to reduce that target to 4 points from 6 games.
Since our last game at home we’ve won at FC Clacton and at Gorleston before Tuesday night’s draw at Kirkley & Pakefield as we get ever closer to that prize.
We went to Yarmouth back in mid-January and came away with all the points thanks to goals from Dan Brown, Max York and Ed Rolph and whilst the Bloaters remain in a fight at the wrong end of the table they have shown that they are more than capable of getting results. They beat Haverhill Rovers last weekend and put 5 past Walsham Le Willows recently too so will certainly offer a threat today.
The last time we hosted Yarmouth at The GW was back in February 2018 on what was a god day for us. An Ed Rolph hat-trick along with goals from Max York and James Carman gave us a 5-1 win and another three points today would of course help us take another big step towards the title before we hit the road again to Wroxham on Tuesday evening and Brantham Athletic next Saturday.
Kick Off is at 3:00pm.
