BetVictor Isthmian League North
Saturday 23rd November 2019
Kick Off at 3:00pm

It’s league action again at Bridge Road tomorrow afternoon when Grays Athletic will be our visitors as we look to build on the win over Felixstowe and draw at Maldon & Tiptree in our last two games.

Grays come to us currently just above us in the table with both clubs on 19 points although our visitors have played a game less. Their recent league form has not been great with one win from their last six but manager Jim Cooper has been actively strengthening his squad with Ben Clarke, Jayden Beales, Ryan Sammons and Nathan Fox all signing up in the last couple of weeks. Up front, Joao Carlos leads the Grays scoring charts so far with 12 with Tony Stokes not far behind on 9.

After last Saturday’s point at Maldon & Tiptree and the win over Felixstowe the week before, Lance will be looking to keep the run of good form going. At Maldon last weekend the team put in their best performance for some time with Under 18’s skipper Alfie Lawrence particularly impressive in his first league start for us. With every week that passes the Gaffer knows he gets closer to being able to call on players returning from injury with Lee Smith and Even Key edging closer. Lewis McDonald is also getting closer to full fitness although he was limited to a brief appearance from the bench last weekend.

Kick Off at 3:00pm.
