Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Friday 19th October 2018
Kick Off @ 7:45pm

After a couple of eventful FA Vase games we’re back to league action tomorrow as we welcome Godmanchester Rovers to The Glassworld for another big top of the table game.

This will be our second game against Rovers this season after we won 3-1 at Bearscroft Lane in August. Ed Rolph was on target twice on that memorable Friday night and Dan Brown got the other to see us take all three points home to Bridge Road.

As expected, Rovers are very much in the mix at the top end of the table and will present a tough challenge tomorrow night. They have won 4 of their last 5 league games with the only setback a 0-3 reverse at Woodbridge Town (who we will host in the next round of the Vase in a coouple of weeks.) Jack Chandler leads the Rovers’ goalscorers chart with 8 so far and Michael Hyam has 7.

We go into this one on a run of 7 games unbeaten in all competitions, the most recent being Tuesday’s 2-0 FA Vase replay over Colney Heath. Lance was without top scorer Ed Rolph for that game along with Pat Bexfield and James Chivers whilst Rob Ruddy went off with a hip/back injury midway through the second half but Lance hopes to be able to call on all four for tomorrow’s game.

Kick Off is at 7:45pm.
