Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Tuesday 5th February 2019
Kick Off @ 7:45pm

After Saturday’s FA Vase disappointment Lance and the team have the chance to quickly put that behind them this evening when Framlingham Town visit The Glassworld, knowing that a win will take us back to the top of the table.

Town were here in November but on that occasion the game ended early when an injury to Alex Bevans forced the Referee to abandon the match. They sit bottom of the table currently and are on a bad run that has seen them lose their last 8 league games but Lance will need to ensure there is no complacency amongst the Stutes squad if that run is to continue. The Gaffer may need to juggle his squad after Saturday’s gruelling 120 minutes but has options with Evan Key and Ed Rolph both getting closer to full fitness. Matt Green faces a three game suspension after his red card against Northwich but that doesn’t start until Saturday’s game at Ely City and so he is available for tonight.

The club will remain in regular contact with Framlingham and the Match Referee throughout the day with regard to pitch conditions at The Glassworld after heavy rain yesterday and further updates will be posted to the club’s Twitter and Facebook pages later as and when available.
