BetVictor Isthmian League North Division
Saturday 9th November 2019
Kick off @ 3:00pm

We welcome Felixstowe & Walton United to Bridge Road tomorrow as we return to league action after Wednesday night’s Velocity Trophy win at Hertford Town.

Lance was pleased with Wednesday night’s performance, particularly the impressive way in which a number of Under 18’s team players stepped up. Having taken the opportunity to rest a few senior players midweek the manager now has decisions to make for tomorrow’s game with Lee Smith, Pat Bexfield, Max York and Simon Swinton all available for selection again and Lewis McDonald also in contention after making a comeback from injury at Hertford.

The Seasiders’ last visit to Bridge Road ended in a 1-1 draw back in January 2018 in a season which ended successfully for the visitors as they earned promotion to Step 4. Last season’s solid 10th place finish set a platform to move forward from but this season hasn’t gone so well as yet. Currently 18th with 8 points from 11 games their form has been poor with a 3-1 win over Cambridge City in mid-September their last three point haul.

All that means nothing of course as we prepare to lock horns again tomorrow with the points on offer being valuable to both sides and Seasiders’ manager Stuart Boardley has recently added defender Sam Nunn to his squad as he looks to turn their form around.

Kick Off is at 3:00pm.
