Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 3rd February 2018
Kick Off @ 3:00pm
Tomorrow afternoon we welcome Fakenham Town to The Glassworld Stadium as we look to continue our fine recent run of form and keep pushing towards the top 4 in the table.
The team had to dig out a result last weekend at Haverhill Borough against very stubborn and organised opponents but Ed Rolph scored twice late on to secure the points. Lance has spoken highly of Rolph’s recent form this week in the CEN and will be hoping the in-form striker can keep finding the net.
The Manager will be able to call upon James Carman tomorrow after the striker had to miss out with a knock last weekend, but Tommy Wright is likely to be out for another couple of weeks whilst Charlie Brown and Will Lawton remain out.
We visited Fakenham’s Clipbush Park in December and came away with all three points thanks to another battling perfomrance and it was Rolph again whose 80th minute strike made the points safe. Town have had a tough season so far and a run of 4 straight defeats leaves the Ghosts in the bottom three but recently installed new manager Andy Cunningham is in the process of rebuilding the side with a number of new signings and recent performances have given them some cause for optimism.
