HISTON v CORBY TOWN
Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Tuesday 14th September 2021
Kick off @ 7.45pm
Tomorrow night we welcome the Steel Men of Corby Town to The Bridge as we look to bounce back from a difficult week and get some more points on the board.
For the first time this season our opponents need little introduction as we have crossed swords plenty of times in recent years. The most recent of these was in the FA Trophy Preliminary Round in October 2019 when a 0-0 draw in the first game at the Bridge was followed by a 1-4 reverse at Steel park a few days later. Our last league meeting came in April 2015 when Evan Key’s goal was not enough on the day as the visitors won 2-1.
We are happy to confirm that many of the restrictions we were previously working under at the stadium have now been lifted but PLEASE continue to respect our staff and each other by taking care, respecting social distancing measures and wearing a face covering when you go into the bar. We would also appreciate as many supporters as possible from both sides purchasing tickets online in advance via our match ticket site as this speeds up the process of getting into the ground and means that our volunteer staff need to handle less cash. The process is simple just bring the eTicket along with you on your phone (or print it out if you prefer) and show it to our get staff for them to scan and that’s it, you’re in!
Once you’re in you will be able to access the bar (please wear a face covering though) and Vic’s burger bar will be open for you to get one of his now-legendary burgers or fishfinger rolls (amongst other things).
