Manager Lance Key goes into tomorow’s game against Brantham Athletic with a couple of new additions to his squad. Centre Half Casey Phillips has joined from Haverhill Borough and keeper Luke Wright has signed from Anglia Ruskin following Oliver Leslie’s injury in the warm up at Stanway last weekend. Leaving the squad however is midfielder George Darling whose work commitments have made it impossible for him to continue with us and we wish him well in the future.

Tomorrow’s game is a big one against tough opposition with Brantham in 5th place in the table and 5 points ahead of us. Last Saturday’s 1-2 reverse at Saffron Walden brought a 7 game winning streak to an end for the Blue Imps and they will want to get that winning feeling back at our expense.

Our own form has been patchy, compounded by a run of injuries and player availability issues that have made it impossible to keep anything like a settled side from one game to the next. Despite that though performances have been ok on the whole even though we have in effect been playing without a keeper for the last few weeks! Danny Gould’s return to fitness and two goals last week were a welcome boost but striker Ed Rolph remains out. Key will also be without the suspended Joe Sutton and Will Lawton for this game.
