Histon v Arlesey Town
Evo-Stick Southern Division 1 Central
Tuesday 16th August 2016

Kick Off @ 7.45pm

Arlesey Town are our next opponents in the Evo-Stick Southern Division 1 Central on Tuesday evening. Manager Steve Fallon will have been pleased with the point gained at Fleet Town on Saturday and with the impact made by Ben Yeomans and Chris Hyem on their debuts but he will be hoping that some of the walking wounded from that game will be available for this one. Danny Gould, Pat Bexfield and Tom Moran all had to be substituted at Fleet whilst Elkanah Sibanda and Luke Seaber-Shinn were both carrying knocks by the end of the game.

However, there were plenty of positives to take from Saturday’s game as the team are starting to get into their stride.

We last played Arlesey in the Southern Premier Division in the 2014-15 season, losing 1-2 at their place in October (Lewis McDonald our scorer), with a Ryan Auger goal winning the return here at The Glassworld in March 2015.

Arlesey have had a tough start to the season so far. A 0-3 reverse at Marlow on the opening day was followed by successive 1-2 home defeats to Kempston Rovers and Barton Rovers respectively.
