BetVictor Isthmian League North Division
Monday 26th August 2019
Kick Off @ 3:00pm

After Saturday’s FA Cup win at Bury Town we are quickly back into league action tomorrow as we welcome AFC Sudbury to Bridge Road for a Bank Holiday Monday afternoon fixture.

The yellows have had a tough start to their campaign with dfficult games away at Coggeshall Town and Felixstowe & Walton to deal with. They went down 1-3 at Coggeshall on the opening day with Tom Maycock’s goal nothing more than a consolation and were then beaten at home by Felixstowe (0-1) last Tuesday night. They were able to take revenge on the Seasiders yesterday though as the two sides met again in the Emirates FA Cup but this time the home side went through 2-1 thanks to early goals from Sean Marks and Liam Bennett.

Lance knows that tomorrow’s game will be a tough one but will be encouraged by the way the team has dug in to ensure victory in the last week both away at Soham and again yesterday at Bury Town when down to 10 men for the last quarter of an hour. Evan Key was the man who saw red yesterday but he will be available for selection tomorrow as his suspension doesn’t start until next weekend. The gaffer will also need to check on defender Rob Ruddy who took a knock late on yesterday and had to come off.

The weather is set fair so we should have great conditions for this Bank Holiday game! Kick off is at 3:00pm.
