Thurlow Nunn ECL Premier Division
Saturday 22nd December 2018
Kick Off @ 3:00pm
Today’s game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
We travel to the Essex coast tomorrow to take on The Seasiders of FC Clacton at The Rush Green Bowl. Our last visit there saw us take all three points courtesy of Charlie Brown’s strike early in the second half whilst goals from Max York, Ed Rolph and Danny Gould secured a 3-0 win at The Glassworld back in November.
Since that game in November our hosts have played just 2 league games, losing 1-2 at home to Newmarket Town before winning 3-1 at Framlingham Town last weekend. Jake Plane scored in that game and has 12 to his name in all competitions whilst Adam Hampson is also in double figures for the season.
We ourselves have only completed one league fixture since that meeting in November and that was last weekend’s 4-2 win over Norwich United. Skipper Max York’s double strike in that game sent him back to the top of our scorers leaderboard with 15 with strikers Ed Rolph (14) and Dan Brown (13) only just behind. Lance reports one or two knocks within the squad which may pose him a couple of selection problems for this game and the Gaffer is looking to add one or two players to the squad ahead of the busy Christmas schedule (more news on that if and when details are confirmed).
