BetVictor Isthmian League North
Saturday 30th November 2019
Kick Off @ 3;00pm
Tomorrow’s game takes us to Canvey Island’s Park Lane ground as we return to league action after our midweek exit from the Cambs Invitation Cup.
The Gulls, currently 13th in the table, have a few games in hand due to various cup matches in their schedule. Their last league outing was a 1-1 draw at Gerat Wakering and this was preceeded by a 3-2 win over Brentwood Town at Park Lane. Manager Mark Bentley has added the experienced Sam Bantick to his squad this week after the striker’s very brief stay at Romford came to an end.
Lance was able to make a few changes to his side for the City game in midweek, bringing in Lee Smith, Evan Key and Lewis McDonald for their first starts in a couple of months as all three get closer to full fitness. We were forced to play the last 20 minutes of that game with ten men after Danny Gould had to come off with a hamstring injury and his availability will be checked on ahead of tomorrow’s game.
Driving time from Bridge Road approx. 1 hour 25 minutes (74 miles).
