BEDWORTH UNITED v HISTON
Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division
Tuesday 7th September 2021
Kick off @ 7.45pm

After a weekend off we return to action on Tuesday night with a trip to Bedworth United’s Miners Welfare Park for our next Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division game.

The Greenbacks started their league campaign with a home win over Corby Town but have struggled since with defeats against Carlton Town, Halesowen Town, Ilkeston Town and Chastown. Their FA Cup form has been much better though and they go into Tuesday’s game bouyed by a 4-1 thumping of Winterton Rangers on Saturday that put them in the hat for the 2nd Qualifying Round draw.

The last meeting between the two sides was in April 2016 when we came away with nothing after goals from Matty Allan and Josh Oyinsan were not enough to prevent a 2-3 defeat.

This time around Lance should be able to welcome back Andy Ballester and Bubba Camara who both missed last week’s defeat at Spalding with Evan Key’s return also a possibility.

The team will be travelling by coach to this game and supporters are welcome to join us with seats being available for £15 each. To book a place please email the Club Sec on secretary@histonfc.co.uk and you will need to ensure that you are at Bridge Road by 4.45pm on Tuesday afternoon.
