We are delighted to confirm the return of Max York who has re-signed for the club in time for tonight’s CFA Invitation Cup game at The Bridge against Ely City.
Max needs little introduction to Stutes fans having clocked up well over 200 games for us so far, grabbing nearly 50 goals in the process with 27 of those coming in that memorable 2018/19 ECL-winning season. Lance is delighted to welcome the defender back into the squad, saying “it goes without saying that Max brings a huge amount of experience and know-how with him, and maybe even a goal or two! I hope that his return will help to spur the team on to a higher level and give us the extra push we need to get the results that will lift us away from the dangerzone in the league.”
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7.45pm and there will be a winner decided on the night with the tie being decided by penalty shoot-out if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
