Unfortunately the Bridge Road surface has failed an inspection, leading to the postponement of this afternoon’s United Counties League fixture against MK Irish.
With temperatures dropping to -3 overnight adding to an already frozen surface, any sufficient thaw was extremely unlikely. This was evident with a check of the surface at 2PM Friday, where large areas of the East side of the ground and Bridge Road End were frozen solid, due to the lack of sunlight received.
We hope to be back in action in a week’s time, when we travel to Long Buckby, Kick Off 3PM.
