Histon Ladies v Acle United
Wednesday 19th April 2017
Kick Off @ 8:00pm

The game this Wednesday evening has been building up over the last few weeks to be an absolutely  massive fixture for both sides who’s reasons for success are poles apart. Acle need a win to keep their chances of picking the pockets of title favourites Haringey Borough by one point with their last game of the season, while our Ladies must win to keep their survival hopes in the premiership afloat.

The recent away trip to our visitors was a close and keenly fought battle which ended in a 2:1 victory for Acle, even after some over exuberant use of the flag and some unusual decisions by the home linesman.

The Ladies will be going into the game without their captain Kate Saunders who suffered an ankle fracture during their last outing and is expected to be sidelined for upto six months. Also on the injury list is young keeper Keeley Robinson who sustained a fractured finger during the same fixture.

The Ladies and their management would really appreciate some extra support for this make or break tie.  A good crowd behind them could be all they need to boost their chance of survival.

The bar will be open and there is free entry for all supporters.
