Earlier this week we asked for your financial help through a Just Giving page but it appears we under-estimated the level of commitment and affection our fans and well-wishers have for the club. Our target of £1,000 was reached within just two days and we would very much like to thank everyone who has already contributed in what are challenging times for all of us. But the fund remains open and further donations will make us even stronger.

The message from our Club Manager Lance Key is as follows:

“We have reached our goal due to your enormous generosity, but every little helps. Let’s see how far we can go. Once again, thank you to all who have donated. We really are truly grateful that this football club means so much to you, as it does to us.”

Club Captain Max York has also voiced his support for the collection, stating, “It is greatly encouraging for the players to know that the club and its supporters are doing all they can to ensure we are well placed to carry on with the development of the club when the current crisis is over. One of the strengths of community clubs such as ours is that we are there for each other in times of need.

“Players throughout the club’s structure draw inspiration from support like this and will be looking to reward your faith in us and the club when football recommences. Until such time, please stay safe, follow the government advice and stay strong.”

You can still donate here.
