We are delighted to confirm that Danny Gould has re-joined us at The Bridge and goes straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip to Daventry Town.
Joining us as a 17 year old Scholar, Danny made his way through the youth teams and and then on into the First Team, making his senior debut for us during the 2015/16 season and going on to make 185 appearances and score 21 goals before moving to Grays Athletic in the summer.
Lance was understandably pleased to welcome back a player whose senior career has been spent mostly under his charge “it’s great to have Danny back” the Gaffer said. “From a coaching point of view he gives us more options with his pace, experience and versatility and he’s great for the dressing room too. He can play either side, at the back, in midfield or centrally in an attacking role and it’s a great signing for us. Everyone at the club will be as delighted as we are to welcome him back.”
