We are delighted to welcome James Smith to the club as our new Physio.

We have been without a permanent Physio for a few months since Sydney left to take up a role in Dubai and are grateful to those that have stepped into the breach to provide cover for our various teams in that time.

James takes up his new position with immediate effect, although of course we remain in lockdown and unable to train as a squad at the moment

As well as gaining a broad range of experience in recent years with roles at Stevenage, Braintree Town and most recently, a three year spell with Needham Market, James also runs his own private practice (Knots Clinic) and comes to the club highly recommended. As well as looking after the first team James will also be involved with our other teams across all age groups.

On taking up the offer to join us at Bridge Road James had this to say

Histon is a club that I have always liked and most people who know me know of my desire to be a part of it. I am excited to be working with Lance as he is someone I have always respected and a manager who I know to be honest and passionate. The club have always been a big club and one with a massive history and one I would characterise as a sleeping giant. I believe that with the lads we have and the work that’s going on that we will see the sort of success the club deserves. I have never worked at a club with so much potential and I am very excited to be a part of that for, I hope, many many years to come!

Up the Stutes!”
