Emirates FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round
Saturday 17th September 2016

After two impressive away wins in the Emirates FA Cup so far this season, a third away game against National League South side Wealdstone proved a step too far as the hosts ran out 4-0 winners.

Elliot Benyon gave the Stones the lead on 16 minutes but despite putting plenty of pressure on the home side were unable to extend their lead as the Histon defence stood firm with Niall Conroy in good form.

The Stones made their Step 2 quality count in the second half. Ricky Wellard made it 2-0 on 55 minutes before Benyon doubled his personal tally with 65 minutes on the clock. Josh Hutchinson added a fourth on 90 minutes
