The 300 Club was introduced over 5 years ago (as the 100 Club) and has, since then, raised in excess of £26,000. These funds have provided a life-line to the Club’s funds over the years and have been used to provide improvements both on and off the pitch at Histon Football Club.

With around 200 members at the present time, the aim is to increase this number to 300 by the end of the 2010-2011 Season.

The mid-monthly draw pays out a total of £100 each month, with a bumper £800 in December. One number costs just £5 — why not double the chance of winning and have two numbers for £10. Subscriptions are taken by Standing Order on the first of each month and an application form and standing order can be downloaded, and then forwarded to Jenny Wells at the address quoted on the application form.

The “year” for the 300 club is drawing to a close. This is the fifth year of the draw and the total raised by the members in that 5 years amounts to a fabulous £26,335. These funds have all been used towards ground improvements, including assisting in the costs of pitch drainage last year. A minimum of £5 per month is all it takes for one number, and £10 for two.
