 | A career that spans over twenty years, with most of it in the professional game, has seen Lance establish himself as a highly respected goal keeper and coach. Histon have certainly benefited from his experience and knowledge. Lance started his career at Histon and left in 1990 for Sheffield Wednesday. Lance returned to Histon in 2004 to help secure the Southern League and Nationwide South Championships.

 | Adam became the Club’s third signing of the summer of 2009 when the vastly experienced player chose Histon over several clubs who were chasing his signature. Adam spent last season at Notts County who he re-joined last season after leaving Gay Meadow in 2006 to play for Leyton Orient. Adam started his career at Cambridge United under current Stutes coach John Beck.

 | Pushing himself to the top of his game has seen Matthew establish himself as an essential part of the defence. His clean sheets as well as his goals have been just reward for a player who has had to overcome two major injuries. Matthew scored the goal that saw Histon beat Leeds 1-0 in the FA Cup last season. Matthew has been appointed as the First Team Captain for the 2009/10 season.

 | Glen signed for Histon on an 18 month contract at beginning of February 2010. He is an attacking midfielder who made over 200 appearances for Dagenham and Redbridge helping them win promotion to The Football League. During this time his performances were rewarded with 13 England C international caps.

 | Brentford’s loss is Histon’s gain! Lanre joined the club in July 2008 and has immediately made a positive impact. His call up to the Ireland under-19 squad is a mark of just how much potential this young man has. If he fulfils his ambitions with Histon FC it can only be a good thing for him and the Club.
