James ALGER
Alger has been the Academy Goalkeeper coach for the last 5 seasons and was also a First Team coach under David Livermore during the 2010-11 season. He re-joined the First Team in December 2012 as goalkeeper coach under then interim Manager Nacer Relizani and also continues to work with the Academy.
Michael BUILT - Midfield
Michael BUILT
Starting his career in the UK with the Northampton Town in 2009, the former New Zealand Under 17 International signed an 18 month contract with the Cobblers in January 2011 under then boss Ian Sampson. Following a short loan move to Bedford Town in March 2012 he then made the move permanent, signing for the Eagles for the 2012-13 season before returning to his native New Zealand where he has been playing for Hamilton Wanderers over the summer in the NZ Northern Premier League. Manager Brian Page had had Built on his radar for a while and secured his signature in August on his return from New Zealand.

Jack CASSIDY
Jack joined Histon as an Academy Coach at the start of the 2011-12 season, working with both the Under 10's and Under 16's. The following season he became full time Tutor to the Scholarship Programme and assists Manager Brian Page with First and Youth Team coaching and scouting duties.

19 year old defender signed on a loan deal from Hull City in mid-March that runs until the end of the season. Highly rated by the Tigers, the young centre half has made an immediate impact at Bridge Road and formed a strong partnership with fellow loanee Will De Havilland at the heart of the back line.

Young midfielder recruited in October 2013 from Boston United, where he had made only two appearances since joining in August. Joined Norwich City as a 10 year old before completing a two year scholarship there and followed that with a one year pro deal before his release in the summer of 2013.

Charlie DAY
Graduating from the Scholarship in the summer of 2012, the midfielder had already broken into the First Team towards the end of 2010-11 at the age of 17 under the watchful eye of then Manager David Livermore and current boss Brian Page. He left the Club at the start of last season to pursue other options including brief spells in Finland and at St Neots Town, before returning to Bridge Road in December. Versatile enough to play on the left or in the centre of midfield, the 19 year old had 24 senior appearances to his name at the start of the season.

Will DE HAVILLAND
19 year old defender signed on loan from Millwall in February following the departure of Remy Clerima to Brackley Town. A regular in the Lions Under 21 Development Squad, the youngster signed his first pro deal in the summer of 2013 and had a brief spell with tenants Cambridge City in January before signing at Bridge Road.

Nick FREEMAN - Midfield
Nick FREEMAN
2nd year Scholar whose progress last season caught the eye of numerous Premiership and Football League Clubs. Starting the season with the Under 18’s, the wide midfielder’s performances (and goals) were such that he became a key member of the FA Youth Cup Run that ended in defeat against Liverpool in the 4th Round. Those performances did not go unrewarded at Histon of course as the 17 year old got the call to First Team action, going on to make 15 senior appearances and scoring twice before injury brought his season to a premature close. An exciting talent who is sure to be heavily involved in the Managers’ plans again this time around.

Curtis FULCHER
Another Histon scholar that forced himself into the reckoning for a First Team place last season, making the bench for the trip to Guiseley in December and getting his first taste of senior football against Gainsborough Trinity in February. Impressive performances for both the Under 18 and Under 19 youth sides have caught the eye and the young midfielder will be pushing for more game time at senior level this season. Currently on loan at Huntingdon Town.

England Under 18’s keeper who signed on loan from Leyton Orient in February. He was a regular on the bench for the O’s in 2012-13 and has been again this season. The very highly rated stopper was called up to the England Under 18’s squad last season and is a strong addition to the Stutes squad.

Declan HUNT
19 year old attacking midfielder signed in the summer following his release by West Ham United. Spent a couple of months with Braintree Town last season, appearing 4 times for the Iron in Conference National, and joined the Stutes for pre-season. He quickly made an impression on Manager Brian Page who in turn wasted little time on getting the Londoner signed. Can operate centrally or up behind a lone striker adding attacking options to the team.

Calum KITSCHA
Highly rated young keeper who signed a new contract in the summer keeping him at Bridge Road for at least another year. Initially signed by David Livermore in the summer of 2011, chances were few and far between but the stopper finally got his chance under Dennis Greene at the start of last season. Following a tough start to the campaign the youngster went on loan to Walton & Hersham in October before returning, confidence restored, in December to make the Number 1 shirt his own. Only now just 20 years old, Kitscha’s performances in the second half of last season were vital in helping the team pick up the necessary points to avoid relegation and the young keeper looks to have a very bright future indeed.

Eugene LIBERTUCCI
Another graduate of the Histon FC Scholarship, Libertucci left for pastures new at the start of last season and became a regular starter for Bedford Town. Returning to Bridge Road for the start of this campaign, the 20 year old will be looking to showcase his range of passing from anywhere across the midfield and establish himself in the side.

Joined the club in October 2013 from managing Huntingdon Town, where he had been in charge since February 2011, leading them to the United Counties League Division 1 title in 2012, his first full season as Manager.

Barney MCLAUGHLIN
Highly regarded prospect at Bridge Road, the 18 year old keeper is a regular amongst the subs but has yet to dislodge established Number 1 Calum Kitscha from his place between the sticks. The Youth Team keeper is pushing hard for his chance in the senior side this season.

3rd Year Scholar that was a key part of the Under 18 and Under 19 teams last year. Given his chance in the First Team at the start of this season after regular right back Zak Mills was ruled out with injury and has grabbed the opportunity with both hands. Numerous impressive performances in the senior side have made him a regular starter and the 19 year old already looks accomplished at senior level.

Brian PAGE
Page has been the Scholarship Lead Co-ordinator at Histon for the last three years and was also Assistant to David Livermore for two seasons from 2010-12. Rejoined the First Team in December 2012 as Assistant to interim Manager Nacer Relizani before accepting the top job in May of this year. Page remains Head of Youth at Histon and combines this with the First Team Manager’s job and has had a major impact on the team since his return.

Salim RELIZANI
Pacey, tricky and direct, the 18 year old Scholar’s performances and goals for the Youth Teams earned him a chance in the Senior side last season. Always a threat going forward, the youngster has caught the eye of Football League scouts but remains a Stute for now and will be looking to add to his 4 senior appearances this time around.

Versatile defender signed on a Work Experience deal from Dagenham & Redbridge on deadline day in March. A regular in the Daggers Under 18 side, he has had spells at Thurrock, VCD Athletic and Harlow Town earlier in the season and brings competition for places to the back four.

Matty WATERS - Striker

Histon FC Scholar and prolific goal scorer at Under 18, Under 19 and County level. The youngster made his senior debut from the bench against Solihull Moors in October 2012, scoring his first senior goal against Bradford Park Avenue in November before adding two more against Workington and a stunning late winner at Worcester City in January. Injury ended his season prematurely last year but the 19 year old is fit and ready to go again and scored within minutes of coming on to equalise against Brackley Town in his first appearance of the season in December.

Third year Histon Scholar, the young left back has been a mainstay of the club’s youth teams for some time now and gained First Team experience earlier this season on loan at St Ives Town, where he excelled. He grabbed his chance to make an impression in the First Team with a Man of the Match debut against Leamington in March and will be aiming to cement a regular place in the side.

Nick joined the club in the summer of 2011 when recruited by then manager David Livermore. Joined Barnet in 2009 for a year’s internship and followed that with a spell at the Stevenage FC Academy. Since joining Histon Nick has overseen the medical department and introduced numerous and vigorous injury prevention programmes, including individually tailored schedules that target specific areas of weakness in each player. The continual improvement of the medical support at the Club and major reduction in preventable injuries within the squad are testament to the high quality job Nick and his staff do. Joe ASENSI
Versatile young player who rejoined the club in the summer, having graduated through the Scholarship Programme last year. Left sided, he was a key member of the youth teams whilst at Bridge Road playing mostly in midfield although he played a number of games at left back and continued in both roles at Soham Town Rangers, where he spent last season. Now back under the guidance of mentor Brian Page the youngster will be looking to make the step up to Conference North football.

Omar BECKLES
21 year old central defender signed by Manager Brian Page in the summer of 2013 to add strength and physical presence to the heart of the defence. He moved to Glenn Hoddle’s Academy in Spain after leaving Millwall before returning to the UK with spells at Boreham Wood and Kettering Town and ending last season with Billericay Town in Conference South.

Charlie BINNS
Impressed the Manager with his pre-season performances enough to earn himself a place in the squad. A versatile midfielder, the 18 year old can play anywhere across the pitch but is more often found in the centre. After starting his youth career with York City he moved to Tadcaster Albion last summer and then to Biggleswade Town before finishing the season with Eynesbury Rovers.

The Frenchman joined Histon in July 2010 and has been a regular at the heart of the defence ever since. A calm, reliable and influential presence in the side the defender was handed the captain’s armband last season and repaid the faith shown in him with numerous imperious displays. The 23 year old now has 108 appearances under his belt and has scored 8 goals.

Jay DOWIE
Combative midfielder and ex Histon Scholar that has now firmly established himself as a key player in the heart of the midfield. A number of niggling injuries have hampered his progress over the last couple of seasons but the 21 year old is now 100% fit and signed a new contract in the summer of 2013, committing himself to the Stutes for at least another year. Now with 59 (14) appearances to his name he added goal scoring to his cv last season, striking 3 times from distance in spectacular fashion.

Initially joined the club on a Youth Loan from Peterborough United in early September and impressed at the heart of the defence before being recalled by the Posh at New Year after 19 appearances. The young Scot re-signed for the Stutes in February though on another Youth Loan deal and will be looking to pick up from where he left off at Bridge Road.

Talented wide midfielder who quickly became a crowd favourite after joining the club in the summer of 2012. Now fully fit, the 21 year old will be looking to pick up where he left off.

A talented defender that can get forward when needed, the 21 year old already has 110 First Team appearances under his belt and signed a new contract at Bridge Road in the summer.

Signed from Bedford Town by Brian Page in late November, the 27 year old was a proven goalscorer for the Eagles. Following a serious injury in 2009, Phillips returned to action at AFC Kempston last season before re-signing for Bedford ahead of the current campaign where he scored 10 times in 16 outings before leaving for Bridge Road.

Grant ROBERTS
Another young player that joined the Club looking for a chance to show what he can do, Roberts is now into his third season at Bridge Road. He originally found a starting place hard to secure in midfield but got a chance at right back covering injuries midway through 2011-12 and excelled in the unfamiliar role. That versatility seemed to work against him though as he found himself covering others in various positions before finally getting an extended run in the holding midfield role midway through last season, a position that he has since made his own. Signed his first contract with the Club in the summer and had notched up 65(17) appearances in a Histon shirt by the start of this season.

An ex Histon Academy player, Sheppard finally became a Histon player again in the summer after signing from Braintree Town. Left the Club as a 16 year old to take up a Scholarship with Leyton Orient and returned on a work experience deal briefly in 2011. From there he joined Conference National side Braintree Town in the summer of 2012 but rejoined us at Bridge Road on loan in August that year and again in January. The striker will be looking to play regularly now he has “come home” and will want to find again the impressive form he showed last season. Now 19, the young striker had score 6 times in 15 starts by the end of last season.

Versatile defender signed in September to make his Stutes debut in the FA Cup at Royston Town. Spent last season with neighbours Cambridge City but suffered a leg break that finished his season prematurely. Now back to fitness the 20 year old will be looking to stake a claim for a regular place in the side.

Lewis TAAFFE
Originally a striker, the midfielder/forward progressed through the youth ranks and cemented his First Team place last season with a number of impressive performances on the right hand side. Scored a stunning long range volley at Nuneaton Town last season and added another 9 to get to double figures by the end of 2011-12. Suffered a broken bone in his foot in the last game of last season and has only just returned to the starting XI, making his 50th senior start against Bradford Park Avenue and reminding everyone of what they had been missing in his absence.

"Stan" joined the coaching staff in December 2012 when the Interim Management Team of Nacer Relizani and Brian Page took over First Team affairs. UEFA “A” Licensed, the highly qualified coach accepted the Assistant Manager’s role when Brian Page took permanent charge in the summer.
Stan left the Club on 9 September 2013 to become joint manager of Corby Town FC.
Adi YUSSUF - Striker
Adi YUSSUF
21 year old srtiker who came through the ranks at Leicester City and enjoyed a successful loan spell with Tamworth in 2011, scoring twice in six games for the Lambs. Following his release from Leicester he joined Burton Albion but injury curtailed his progress and he joined Lincoln in the summer of 2013. This season he has experienced Conference North football with loan spells at Gainsborough Trinity and Harrogate Town before joining the Stutes in February.
