The Frenchman joined Histon in July 2010 and has been a regular at the heart of the defence ever since, racking up 76 appearances and 6 goals in his two seasons at the Club. Signed a new contract in the summer of 2012 and has been handed the Captain’s armband this season.

Ben COKER
Signed on loan from Colchester United in October, the young left back is well know at Bridge Road as he started his career at the Club as a youngster. Left the Stutes to join Barton Rovers in 2008 before moving on to Bury Town where he excelled and earned himself a move into the Football League where he has made over 40 First Team appearances for the Essex club.

Charlie DAY
A product of the successful Scholarship Programme at Histon, Charlie broke into the First Team towards the end of the 2010-11 season as a 17 year old under the watchful eye of then manager David Livermore and current Assistant Manager Brian Page. Left the club in the summer of 2012 to pursue other options including brief spells in Finland and at St Neots Town before returning in December.

Jay DOWIE
Combative midfielder and ex-Histon Scholar who made the breakthrough into the First Team last season to become a regular in the middle of the park before injury prematurely cut short his season. Has added goalscoring to his cv this year with memorable strikes against Harrogate and Vauxhall Motors.

Danny FITZSIMONS
Signed from Yeovil Town in summer 2011 after turning down a contract there to play First Team Football at Histon. The young left back has secured a regular place in the Stute’s back four missing only 1 game in 2011-12 and has also represented Ireland at Under 19 level.

Nick FREEMAN
1st Year Scholar that has been impressive for Under 18’s and Under 19’s since joining the club in the summer, including 7 goals (and counting) in the FA Youth Cup. Following numerous eye catching performances for the youth teams the winger earned a First Team call up with a debut from the bench against Chester in November and his first senior start debut against Bradford Park Avenue a week later.

Curtis FULCHER
Another Histon scholar that has recently forced himself into the reckoning for a First Team place, making the bench for the trip to Guiseley in December. Impressive performances for both the Under 18 and Under 19 youth sides have caught the eye and the young midfielder will be pushing for senior level game time as the season goes on.

Harri HAWKINS
A Histon Scholar who made his debut at left back in 2010-11 and went on to start 16 games last season. Composed and comfortable on the ball, Harri will be pushing for a regular starting place this season either at left back or in the centre of the defence.

Claudiu HOBAN - Midfield
Claudiu HOBAN
Impressed in pre-season with his pace and trickery on either wing enough to persuade the management staff to award him a contract. Previously with Kettering Town and Leicester City, the young midfielder spent last season at Daventry Town. Scored his first Histon goal at Corby in the FA Cup in October with a long range free kick.

Calum KITSCHA
Teenage stopper that will be pushing hard for the Number 1 shirt this season after limited First Team opportunities last year. Impressively calm and commanding between the sticks, the youngster has a bright future at Bridge Road. Recently spent a month on loan at Ryman Division 1 South Walton & Hersham.

Zak MILLS
Came through the youth system and Scholarship programme at the Club to break into the senior side at left back at the start of the 2010-11 season and remained in that position for the whole season before reverting back to his natural right back place last year. A talented defender that can get forward when needed, the youngster already has over 70 First Team appearances under his belt.

Brian PAGE
Brian has been the Head of Youth and Scholarship Programme Lead Coordinator for three years and combined this role for a two year spell as Assistant to David Livermore until the end of the 2011-12 season. Reverted to “just” his youth role at the start of 2012-13 and has masterminded the Under18’s unprecedented run in the FA Youth Cup that is still ongoing. Was asked by Nacer Relizani to assist with running the First Team after Dennis Greene departed in December.
Nacer RELIZANI - Interim Manager
Nacer RELIZANI
A Histon man through and through, Nacer has served the club as player, coach, Reserve Team Manager and volunteer behind the scenes for over 30 years. Stepped in as Interim Manager after the departure of Dennis Greene in December 2012.
Grant ROBERTS - Midfield/Defence
Grant ROBERTS
Another young player now into his second season at the Club. Originally found a starting place hard to find in midfield but got a chance at right back covering injuries midway through last season and excelled in the unfamiliar role. Continues to offer the reliability and versatility that make him an integral part of the squad.

Jim STEVENSON
Another graduate of the Club’s Scholarship programme, Jim has made the centre of midfield his own with a series of commanding performances over the last couple of seasons, racking up over 70 appearances and scoring some memorable goals along the way.

Lewis TAAFFE - Forward
Lewis TAAFFE
Originally a striker, the midfielder/forward progressed through the youth ranks and cemented his First Team place last season with a number of impressive performances on the right hand side. Scored a stunning long range volley at Nuneaton Town last season and added another 9 to get to double figures by the end of 2011-12. Suffered a broken bone in his foot in the last game of last season and has only just returned to the starting XI, making his 50th senior start against Bradford Park Avenue and reminding everyone of what they had been missing in his absence.

Another Histon Scholar, the big defender is skipper of the Under 19 side and a natural leader. His consistently high level of performance for the youth team have earned him a place in the First Team squad where he is pushing the established senior players hard for a chance to make his debut and establish himself at senior level.

Matty WATERS
Histon FC Scholar and prolific goal scorer at Under 18, Under 19 and County level. With 8 goals to his name so far in the Under 18’s run in the FA Youth Cup, to go with 20+ in all other competitions, it was only a matter of time before the young striker got the call from the First Team Manager. Made his debut against Solihull Moors in October 2012 from the bench, scoring his first senior goal against Bradford Park Avenue in November a couple of weeks later and looks to have a bright future at Bridge Road.

Harry Agombar joined Histon on loan from Macclesfield Town at the end of August 2012, initially for one month. The attacking midfielder/forward joined the Silk Men in the summer from Grays Athletic having had trials at West Ham and Partizan Belgrade. Harry has now returned to Macclesfield.

Awadh AHMED
Wide midfielder "Ace" signed on a youth loan from MK Dons in October along with striker Jordan Ivey-Ward. His family moved to the UK when he was 12 and he has been a Dons player ever since, working his way through their Academy and now has the chance to show what he can do at Conference North level. Made his debut at Brackley in early October and is staking a strong claim for a regular starting place in the side.

Centre half signed on loan until January from Dagenham & Redbridge until January 2013. Looked to be forming a strong partnership at the heart of defence with skipper Remy Clerima before injury kept him out for 2 months. Will be looking to recapture that early form now recovered and back in the side.
Dennis GREENE - Manager
Dennis GREENE
Joined Histon in July 2012 after two successful promotion winning seasons with St Neots Town. As a player, Greene was signed by Martin O’Neill in 1991and went on to experience Wembley triumphs with Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Trophy and League 2 play offs. Cut his managerial teeth at Windsor where he spent three successful years, reaching the FA Trophy Quarter Finals in 2003 before moving on to Conference South Maidenhead United and then, briefly, Chesham United. Two years in Spain followed before returning to England to manage Ware and Hemel Hempstead before joining St Neots as Steve Lomas’ Number 2 in 2009 before succeeding the Irish man at the helm in 2010.

Another Histon Scholar who missed nearly all of last season after suffering a nasty double leg break within minutes of his on loan debut for Harbrough Town at the start of 2011-12. Will be aiming to make up for lost time this season and push for First Team recognition.\\ \ \\ \

Made the step up from Long Buckby at the start of 2011-12 season and settled in quickly, ending the season as the Club’s top scorer with 29 goals and monopolising the end of season awards. Blue Square North Player of the Month in January 2012, the young striker has now moved on to Braintree after completing the first two matches of the season with us.\ \

Signed on youth loan from MK Dons in early October, the powerful striker made a quick impression scoring on his debut at Brackley Town and again in the FA Cup against Corby Town. Started the season on loan at Tamworth in the Conference National and made 5 appearances for the Lambs before moving to Bridge Road.

First Team Coach Mark Kinsella was appointed Assistant Manager to Joe Dunne at Colchester United at the end of September 2012. Mark made a big impact during his short time with us and he will be missed. All at Bridge Road wish him every success in his new role.

Charles "Junior" Yiadom Konadu comes to Bridge Road on an initial month's loan from Macclesfield Town, starting August 31st 2012. Junior is no stranger to manager Dennis Greene, having been with him at St Neots for the last two seasons before getting his move to Macclesfield Town in the summer. Junior has now returned to Macclesfield.

Versatile and pacey midfielder with an eye for goal who joined the Stutes from Needham Market in August 2012. Deakan left the club in November 2012 in a move to Wisbech Town.

Young winger that was signed in August 2012 from Thurrock’s Academy. Capped an impressive run of pre-season games with a stunning winner at Leiston and can operate on either wing. Theo was released frrom the Club at the end of November 2012.

Striker that spent a couple of months with the Club at the start of the 2010-11 season, making 3 appearances before moving on to Swindon Town and then Bishop’s Stortford last season.

Carl PENTNEY
Signed in November 2012 from Colchester United on an initial one month loan deal. The Colchester born stopper started his career at Leicester City before signing for his home town club in the summer of 2010 and since then has enjoyed loan spells at Bath City, Chelmsford City and Hayes & Yeading before signing a new contract with the U’s in summer 2012.

Signed from Leiston in October after spending a short time with the Ryman League club following a spell at Wroxham. Started his career at Ipswich Town before moving to Ireland where he played at Glenavon and Bangor City.
Tony SCULLY - Assistant Manager

Irish Under 21 and “B” International whose playing career was cut short by a knee injury. Started as a youngster at Crystal Palace before moving on to Manchester City, QPR, Cambridge United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Barnet and Notts County in a career that covered over 250 senior professional appearances. Joined Dennis Greene as Assistant Manager at St Neots in 2010 and moved to Bridge Road with him in the summer of 2012.
Adrian SEAR - Midfield

Signed in August 2012 from St Neots Town where he was a key member of the title winning squad and followed manager Dennis Greene to Bridge Road. "Searsy" has captained the side in the absence of injured skipper Clerima and has quickly found his feet at this level, scoring goals and pulling strings from the centre of midfield. Adrian was released from the Club at the end of November 2012.

Kaine Sheppard returns to Histon on loan initially for a month, starting and scoring in Histon's home match against Gloucester City on 25th August 2012. Kaine spent time with us in the 2011-12 season on a youth loan from Leyton Orient making 4 appearances before signing for Braintree Town in July and scoring on his debut for the Iron against Hyde. Kaine has now returned to his home club.

Another new signing in August 2012 when signed by manager Dennis Greene after catching the eye in pre-season. Central midfielder that made a couple of appearances for Hinckley United in the Blue Square North last season and a graduate of Glenn Hoddle’s Academy in Spain.
Shane TOLLEY - Striker

Signed in November from Spalding United, the experienced striker was with manager Dennis Greene at St Neots Town for two years scoring 56 times in the League and playing a key part in Town's success. Joined Spalding United at the start of 2012-13 scoring 12 times in 15 games before re-joining his old manager at Bridge Road. Previous clubs include FK Riga, Peterborough United and Truro City.

Returned to the Stutes in August 2012 for another spell at Bridge Road having left for Rushden & Diamonds in 2010. Started last season at Bedford Town before moving to Kettering Town and then back to Histon. Max has now moved back to Kettering Town.\ \
