Histon FC is delighted to announce that striker Lee Roache has joined the club from Cambridge City. Lee is expected to train with the team on Thursday & Sunday but will have to wait until Tuesday 3^rd February to make his first appearance when the Stutes travel to Forest Green for their next Blue Square Premier fixture. Histon has paid a nominal fee for the player whose contract with Cambridge City was due to expire at the end of the current season. Lee will be wearing the number 29 shirt which was his choice of squad number.

Manager Steve Fallon spoke of the move to bring in the City striker; “Lee had a great game against us in the Cambs Invitation Cup fixture, with Patrick Ada saying that Lee gave him as hard a game as he has had all season so it was after this we decided to make an approach for Lee. We now have a good relationship with City with players moving between both clubs so I think both clubs are happy with the way things are working."
