Last Friday Club Director Neil Davies, First Team Manager Dennis Greene along with Jay Dowie and Club Captain Remy Clerima, attended an Assembly at Histon & Impington Junior School with 340 children to talk about the Club and to answer questions from an interested audience. As part of the Club’s initiative to make every child in the village under the age of 11 a Junior Stute, all the children were given membership Cards which provide entry to games for £1, and each will receive a regular newsletter. A further 260 children at the Infants School received Junior Stutes Membership Cards and a similar Club visit is being arranged after Half Term to the school. The Club Board would like to thank HIST for meeting the cost of the card production. The Boards’ community initiatives will continue after Half Term with a Histon Hornets match day on Saturday 1st December, and a Christmas at Histon FC event on Saturday 15th December at which the Club will be raising funds for CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, and their families. If anyone is able to help us organise the Christmas event please contact either myself or Jo Roach at the Club on 01223 237373. Neil
