There has been a further addition to the squad today ahead of the FA Cup tie with Corby Town tomorrow. Joining the club is goalkeeper Andrew Plummer who arrives having spent a short time at Leiston following a spell at Wroxham and previously in Northern Ireland with Glenavon and Bangor City. Manager Dennis Greene is expecting to send young stopper Calum Kitscha out on loan in the near future to get game time due to the outstanding form of current Number 1 Joe Mellings, and Plummer joins the squad to add cover and competition.

A number of scholars have recently signed dual registration forms with other clubs in order to gain First Team experience. Jack Uttridge and Casey Logan are at Harborough Town, Harry O’Malley and Casper Irso-Coombes at Peterborough Northen Star, Ashley White and Ryan Baxter at Ely City and Hayden Bream is at Sawtry. All remain very much Histon FC scholars and all will continue to be regularly involved with Youth Team games as usual whilst their progress will be closely monitored by Scholars Lead Co-ordinator Brian Page and his coaching staff.
