| Histon Independent Supporters Trust - Update | ||
 John Payne writes:Firstly, congratulations to our boys on winning the battle against relegation and doing us Histon fans proud! We can now look forward to the summer weather with a smile. I am hoping that you will have already heard that the Histon Independent Supporters Trust (HIST) is now a reality. The required mandate to set up the Trust was obtained at the Fans Forum last week and all the necessary groundwork is now being done to ensure the Trust is fully operational by the start of next season. It will still be several weeks before we can invite you to join the Trust as we need to be sure all the legal requirements have been met. Once this is done, we can all look forward to supporting The Stutes for another season in the Blue Square Bet Conference North! In the mean time, the HIST working group have set up a SUMMER FUND. This is in response to suggestions made at the Fans Forum by those who wish to continue to show their support for the lads throughout the summer period. All the money raised will be used to prepare the Glass World Stadium pitch for start of next season. You can also win a 2012/13 first team shirt in the Summer Fund Draw! More details and an application form are available here. At this point we are only asking fans to register their interest in contributing towards the fund as at present we don’t have a bank account for funds to be paid into but we are looking to put that right very soon. Please take a look at the Summer Fund form and help the Trust to have a real impact on the future of Histon Football Club.
