|Wednesday 7th January: Histon FC Share Offer|
The Directors are now sending details of a new share offer to all existing shareholders in Histon Football Club. The Club aims to issue 50,000 new ordinary £1.00 shares at a nominal value of £1.00 per share. Existing ordinary shareholders have the right to take up these shares on the terms set out in the offer, before the offer is extended to potential new shareholders. Existing shareholders wishing to take up all or part of the additional shares for which they are eligible must notify the Directors in writing within 21 days. To the extent that these arrangements do not take up the 50,000 additional shares which the Club wishes to issue, potential new shareholders will then be invited to apply for the remaining shares. The purposes of this offer are to raise additional finance to sustain the Club and move it forward in the future, to encourage community support and interest in the running and ownership of the Club, and to provide an opportunity for potential larger shareholders to show their interest in the Club.

Questions have been raised about the sudden disappearance of the Scholarsí classroom (also used as the first aid room on match days) from the Glass World Stadium. The Directors regret to report that a former Director and Chairman has reclaimed this building, which he had gifted to the Club some years ago. Alternative teaching accommodation for the Scholars is being sought for the New Year, but until this is found the Scholars will be using the Club bar for their formal teaching, and the media suite will be used as the first aid room.

Tomorrow eveningís scheduled Evo-Stick Southern Premier League game at home against Bideford has been POSTPONED. The Club has been informed that Bideford are unable to raise a team for the game and following exploration of possible alternative options over the weekend, unfortunately Bidefordís position remains the same. A new date for the game will be agreed in the next few days and details announced as soon as they are confirmed.
