90+ travelling Histon fans were disappointed to see Histon succumb to a 56th minute strike by Wilfred Domoraud in front of a 1,797 crowd at sunny Kingfield.
The visitors had two headed goals disallowed in the first 20 minutes, for offisde and a push. Domoraud had already rattled the Histon bar in the 49th minute. Histon's best chance, from a throw-in, was hooked off the line and super-sub Jamie Barker blasted wide in a game of few chances and quality.
