Evo-Stick Southern 1 Central
Saturday 11th March 2017

Tommy Wright’s late thunderbolt proved only a consolation as Barton kept their play off hopes on track with victory at The Glassworld on Saturday and our hopes of avoiding the drop took another hit which, coupled with Aylebury’s late win over next week’s opponents Marlow, stretched the gap between us and safety to 8 points with just 7 games remaining.

Lance Key was without suspended trio Ben Yeomans, Simon Unwin and Dan Gleeson for this one and Matty Allan was taken ill and only able to make the bench. Evan Key also missed out through injury but the Manager was able to welcome new signings Jabari Hylton and Joe Carden into the squad though whilst Lewis Clayton made a welcome return after missing the last 3 months.
