With the success in player development from the Academy largely attributed to tours, it is important to understand that tours are not some mystical property to developing the next generation of player, but give the players and coaches the great many hours needed to honing in the skills that will help players reach their potential.

Tours mean players learn everything about becoming a young professional. While away on tour players spend time learning the key elements of preparation, performance and evaluation, knitting together all the habits that will become essential if a boy is to move towards becoming an elite football player.

Tours mean the players are also in the purist learning conditions where their only focus is their football and performance.

Histon Academy Tours this year will see the players visiting, France, Holland, and Denmark.

The tour to France will take place for a group of U11 players playing in a Futsal Tournament near Lille. This takes place the weekend before Christmas and should be a great opportunity for the players to focus their learning while playing against teams from other countries such as France, Belgium, Russia and Germany.
